A Dog's Life

Posted on by Jimmy Sullivan

It's moments like this during construction where we all just have to take a step back and look at the really important things in life. Lola is relaxing here on the Casbah lounge by CB2. Cheers to the designers at CB2 for their great outdoor collection this season - adaptable, durable and obviously dog friendly. Construction for this outdoor living environment in Oakland Hills is progressing just fine.

Resysta Siding Being Added

Posted on by Jimmy Sullivan

Resysta is a composite wood alternative for siding and decking. The homeowner for this project in Oakland Hills was looking for high durability and low maintenance. Resysta is a fibre reinforced hybrid material that is produced of approx. 60% rice husks, approx. 22% common salt and approx. 18% mineral oil, which makes it both environmentally friendly as well as extremely weather resistant against sun, rain, snow and salt water. We love how it's coming out so far!

Construction Begins: Mission Hills Canyon Home

Posted on by Jimmy Sullivan

Day One

Day One

This Mission Hills canyon home was built in the early 1980’s and has three stories with beautiful views of the San Diego Bay. The home’s floor plan has some interesting 45 degree angles that we will be incorporating into the design. The project is a major remodel and involves gutting the home down to the studs, reworking the floor plan, and updating all of the interior and exterior finishes. Part of the design will be to create a new dramatic light filled two story entrance as well as a new master bath and custom kitchen with private zen garden. Stay tuned!
